The charismatic movement and the new age movement are very similar. I’m not the only one who has noticed. A former charismatic did as seen in the article at this link. Interestingly enough, a former Jesuit stated that the Jesuits were infiltrating many of the Protestant denominations and were the ones who started the charismatic movement. Not only has he been proven absolutely and undoubtedly accurate in this statement as can be seen in the remainder of this article and its photos and links, but he has also been proven absolutely accurate, through many well-researched books and even from the mouths of the Vatican’s own top officials, on many other statements that he made almost three decades ago. Those, who attempted to discredit him back in that era, have since been discredited themselves. Today, it appears the Jesuits care not that people know their scheming machinations as they appear to have grown bolder. Now they are totally upfront about their many shenanigans.
In fact, it’s very obvious to those who have studied the history that such connections exist as even recognized by the article on this popular charismatic website, but also shown in the documentation that follows. Both the religious shaman music tradition (CCM) and the religious shaman mysticism (charismatic movement) were both products of the “Jesus Freak” movement. Those who have studied the history of the Jesuit Catholic’s infiltration and their use of ecumenicism may notice the huge connection between all of these pieces. For example, the new age movement’s founding father was a Jesuit named Teilhard De Chardin. By having a secular mystical movement to unite all pagan religions and a religious mystical movement to unite all pseudo-Christian religions, the Vatican has leverage to bring together the one world church that Scripture says will come to pass (and I believe very soon).
Charismatics have been around long before the 1960s – right in the Catholic Church. The Charismatic movement is their legacy and its very obvious since Vatican II was named as the place where the Jesus Freak movement and their resulting movements of charismaticism, CCM, and ecumenicism gained their commission. You can also see the connections between Vatican II, charismatics, and ecumenicism in the speech in this article at this link and on page 134 in the Google Book copy of a book at this link. In addition to Vatican II, multiple other Catholic change agents two years later were responsible as well. Read what Comparative Christianity: A Student’s Guide to a Religion and its Diverse Traditions says:
“Since 1967 CE, the Charismatic Movement has taken hold in the Roman Catholic Church. Masses and prayer meetings, both small and large, have been marked by added vibrancy and sometimes tongues and prophecy. The Roman Catholic Charismatic Movement is an outgrowth of a retreat for faculty and students from Duquesne University in February 1967 CE. Many of those in attendance claimed to have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This movement quickly spread to other Roman Catholics, for example to those at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Steubenville. The movement was given significant backing by Leon Joseph Cardinal Suenens (1904-1996 CE), a leading cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church and one of four moderators of the Second Vatican Council. A Charismatic Mass was held at St. Peter’s in 1976 CE. Three Popes, Paul VI, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI have all acknowledged the movement. On March 4, 1992 CE, Pope John Paul II said:
‘At this moment in the Church’s history, the Charismatic Renewal can play a significant role in promoting the much-needed defense of Christian life in societies where secularism and materialism have weakened many people’s ability to respond to the Spirit and to discern GOD’s loving call. Your contribution to the re-eveangelization of society will be made in the first place by personal witness to the indwelling Spirit and by showing forth His presence through works of holiness and solidarity’.”
The history of Charisma is found repeatedly in Rome long before it was found in America:
- Holy Ghost Fathers
- Daughters of the Holy Spirit
- Sister of the Holy Ghost
- Missionary Servants, Sisters of the Holy Spirit
- Sisters of the Holy Spirit and Mary Immaculate
- Society of the Divine Word
Many other of Rome’s orders have been Charismatic going far back to its origins. The Montanists, the Desert Fathers, various orders of Catholic monasticism such as the Dominicans and the Discalced Carmelites, to name a few. The Dominicans are not some new movement, but have been around for centuries. Their mysticism isn’t even new with Roman Catholicism, but has been around since Babylon.
Their history of charismatic mysticism not only pre-dates any of the other charismatic movements, but also they were clearly seen as leaders in many of the committees and other organizations. For example, a chief leader of Vatican II, Cardinal Leon-Joseph Suenens, wrote the information at this link in this article in 1979 (a result of a new “wave” that had started in 1967 among Catholics, just as Vatican II’s strategic sessions were ending on winning over the world into their one world umbrella – how coincidental, huh). Don’t you find it curious that the charismatic movement resembles Rome so much in how they’re always making a buck off unsuspecting, superstitious people, just like the old relic routine or the selling of indulgences or the billion dollar “pilgrim” industry where millions come to Rome and buy every type of so-called “saintly” item under the heaven. Where do you think the prayer towel concept originated, my friend?
The Catholics also started the People of GOD movement in Latin America, which is documented in Malachi Martin’s book “The Jesuits” (which he should know as one of their top spokesman, communicators, radio personalities, and Pontifical Biblical Institute professors prior to his recent death). Do you really think that the Jesuits are incapable of using movements like this to unite Protestants and Evangelicals? They’ve been trying to do this since Vatican II. Prior to Vatican II, they sought to stamp out the Protestant movement by infiltration and shadow warfare via the Counter-Reformation they started (and for which purpose the Pope had created the Jesuits in 1540). After Vatican II, they have sought to conquer Protestantism by merging with them. Almost every ecumenical technique in the book has been employed by them. Here’s another example of Rome’s hand in the charismatic movement found in this article at this link. The Jesus movement (Jesus people or Jesus freaks), and its resulting charismatic and CCM movements were connected. Wikipedia says “Some of the fastest growing US denominations of the late 20th century, such as Calvary Chapel, Hope Chapel Churches, and the Vineyard Churches, trace their roots directly back to the Jesus movement, as do parachurch organisations like Jews for Jesus and the multi-million dollar contemporary Christian music industry.” One history of the blasphemous ‘jesus movement’ aptly states:
“Another development was Jesus Music, the controversial combination of rock music and the gospel as one of the most effective (and subsequently lasting) institutions of the revival.”
In the use of Satanic music coupled with religious words, the ‘jesus movement’ was historical. No other time in the history of mankind, to my knowledge, has the music of shaman drummers been wed to words about Christ. This unprecedented, blasphemous move was “the beginning of the end” for American Christians. American Christians have never recovered and no hope for their revival appears to be in sight. In fact, the opposite is true. They appear to grow more blasphemous with every day that passes as every vice under the heavens from the sins of Sodom to the evils of Satanism are wed together into one belief system as streams of belief all pour together into one stream. In many ways, the underlying streams of all of these modern movements have been the charismatic and new age streams of thought working to unite all religions with several morphing points of commonality. The one world religion appears to be near at hand.
We could go a level deeper into the Catholic knights and their history and capabilities, but this article would become quite lengthy. Those who wish to do so, I encourage you to read on the Knights Templars for one and their creation of the Freemasons who created several other religions including the Mormons as seen at this link and Jehovah’s Witnesses as seen at this link and this link. There is a vast history of the Knights Templars’ occult spiritualism and mysticism which includes not only Freemasons, but Jesuits and many other knighthoods as well. Many WITHIN the Catholic Church believe the Vatican is now controlled or is virtually controlled by Freemasons and Jesuits (read David Yallop’s book “In God’s Name” that was commissioned by concerned Vatican insiders or Malachi Martin’s book “The Jesuits: The Society of Jesus and the Betrayal of the Catholic Church”). The mysticism of the Knights Templar traces straight back to Babylon and an in-depth study of their teachings will show you that the esoteric teachings of the New Age and Charismatic movements are nothing new at all.
Whereas, the miracles performed by the oracles of GOD (those who gave us the Scripture) were signs of their authority as His oracles, most of the Charismatic healings today are usually coming from churches that emphasize the man and not GOD, as people like Benny Hinn parade across the stage showing off their “healing power”. Whereas my father, a pastor for almost five decades, has prayed with people who were healed within 24 hours, he didn’t get the glory, because it wasn’t a big show on a stage, but a simple prayer in a hospital.
Charismatics like to emphasize the signs and wonders which Jesus said an evil and adulterous generation love and which the false christ will also do. In fact, most of the charismatic churches embrace the enchanter’s shaman music (which Mickey Hart, the best and most scholarly of all rock drummers of all eras in my estimation, would say is the basis for all the music of his tradition (i.e. rock, jazz, etc). Isn’t it interesting that shamans also have healing as well?
Masters of supernatural magick and illusion magic (deception), much like the shamans claiming to have healing power, today’s charismatic televangelists suck the money out of those with little discernment. Shamans have multitudes of healing sites whereby they claim to heal via the power of the “spirits” which we know aren’t the Holy Spirit. Satan’s “miracles” are still yet to be displayed globally through the false prophet and false Christ, among other venues. Didn’t the Book of Acts tell us about a man named Simon who was “healing” through Satan’s power?
“But there was a certain man, called Simon, which before time in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.” – Act 8:9-10
If you believe the church today should have the same signs of authority as GOD’s oracles, then where are those who can raise people from the dead? Peter could. Paul could. Elijah could. Can you? Some great history and current events shared in this presentation. What would Jesus and His disciples think of “freaks”? The etymology of the term gives us insight that a “freak” was a person associated with psychedelic drugs according to Oxford Dictionary and with drugs and sodomy according to Wiktionary. The Word of GOD condemns such activity. Jesus said you can tell a person by their fruit. Many of the forefathers of the “freak” movement were associated with rock, immorality and drugs. It seems these type of activities go hand-in hand. You know the old sayings: “Sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll” or the more ancient saying “Wine, women, and song”.
LONNIE FRISBEE was a self-described “seeing prophet” and mystic in the late 1960s and 1970s. Hippie in appearance, he was known for homosexuality, and his unofficial evangelism career began as a part of a soul-searching acid-trip as part of a regular “Turn on, tune in, drop out” session of getting high (Wikipedia). David di Sabatino’s 2007 Emmy-nominated documentary film “Frisbee: The Life and Death of a Hippie Preacher” gives further details as can be seen in an article found at Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia.
Wikipedia states of Lonnie Frisbee and Chuck Smith: “Frisbee was a key figure in the Jesus movement and eyewitness accounts of his ministry documented in the 2007 Emmy-nominated film Frisbee: The Life and Death of a Hippie Preacher explain how Frisbee became the charismatic spark igniting the rise of Chuck Smith‘s Calvary Chapel and the Vineyard Movement, two worldwide denominations and among the largest evangelical denominations to emerge in the last thirty years … In March 1968, Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel brought into his home the then-18-year-old pentecostal evangelist Lonnie Frisbee with his wife Connie. Chuck Smith paired him up with John Higgins who already had a Bible study going for youth; they started a Christian commune called “The House of Miracles.” John and Lonnie went out into the community to reach its youth with their version of “the gospel” during the early days of the Jesus movement.”
LARRY NORMAN, FATHER OF CCM had the most recognized name in the so-called “Jesus Movement” and the contemporary Christian music scene. Larry created most of the arguments still used by the CCM crowd today (CCM stands for “Christian” Contemporary Music which could more correctly be called religious rock instead). He had created the entire “encyclopedia of white-washing” phrases to justify himself for his love of rock which he described as his “evangelistic” use of rock music (or more properly titled shaman music or music of the enchanters). Philip Cooney explained: “One of the problems for the church establishment was that Norman did not seem to be writing hymns. Not only was the music rock, the words were full of strange images or open references to subjects such as sex and drugs, and he often failed to “name the name” of Jesus.” [Philip Cooney, “Here I am, talking about Jesus just the same: Larry Norman at 60”, The Briefing: An International Evangelical Monthly (30 January 2008)]. Not much has changed with the lyrics of the majority of religious rock music almost forty years later, and not much has changed with their use of non-Biblical arguments justifying what they even call “the devil’s music” (as Norman called it) being used in the church. However, the opinion of the “church establishment” sure has changed and the damage such members of this movement and their concept of combining doctrinal and practical evil with good is very much alive in the so-called “church” today. Today, the charismatic music has furthered the religious doctrines of the charismatic belief system which includes “words of knowledge” in which men can claim to be oracles of GOD with no real miracles such as raising people from the dead or other proof necessary to convince the highly gullible masses of church goers. Their “words of knowledge” are treated as additions to Scripture (which Scripture expressly forbids), and their Satanic music and immoral lifestyles are rampant in the “modern church of the 21st century”. The enchanters and charmers, forbidden by GOD in Deuteronomy, now rule in American ‘churches’ today under the guise of “ministers of light”. Di Sabatino is the author of The Jesus People Movement: An Annotated Bibliography and General Resource, a former editor of Worship Leader magazine, and an expert on the leaders of the “jesus people”. He produced Fallen Angel: The Outlaw Larry Norman in which he allegedly showed Larry Norman to be “Machiavellian” or deceptive according to one reviewer. Interestingly enough, Wikipedia states that “in July 2008, World magazine reported that Norman had fathered a child with an Australian woman Jennifer Wallace (née Robinson) during a tour in Australia in 1988 that she organized. According to McCallum, she has made the information public because Norman had broken a “promise” to include the young man, Daniel Robinson (born 11 July 1989), in Norman’s will.” By their fruits, you will know them. Larry Norman, who had spoken of his use of rock music (which he claimed he was taking from the devil to use for “God”) for “evangelism”, later in life ironically said “I couldn’t easily break through the haze of drugs by using music. I felt like the only time I had any real effectiveness was in personal conversations. At one point I even felt that maybe music was of no use at all.” What was the theme of the 1960s? Wasn’t it sexual revolution, emphasis on the Satanic, the rebellion against authority, kicking GOD, prayer, and the Bible out of public life, and “Roe vs. Wade” abortion rights so young women could kill their own children in cold blood? At the same time, the Lloyd Webber musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” was already beginning to foreshadow the years that followed in which Jesus was blasphemed through evil people attempting to make him a “star” while adding rock music and dragging his purity through the mud. Long before the Da Vinci Code, this musical was already showing the direction of the occult as they appeared to be preparing for the final one world false christ by getting all religions and even most in ‘christian’ churches on-board with their Satanic agenda.
In addition to the before-mentioned events, “Jesus Freak” hippies had started the charismatic and CCM movements with an emphasis on mixing evil and good, while looking, acting, sounding, and being like the world with perversion, drugs, and substance abuse in order to “save” other hippies (doing the same sins) from hell or the penalty of sin but not the sin itself. On the other hand, you had pagan secular hippies and rock musicians who were also running a parallel path to the ‘jesus movement’. The secular pagans also were promoting the sexual revolution, drugs, and rebellion against authority just before this. The New Age Movement was merging non-Christian religions and movements together and there was the Charismatic movement doing the same in the Christian denominations. This global Ecumenical Movement (aided by the new “charisma” or “anointing” that swept all religions and philosophies) was bringing about a united religious experience. Oh, yes, … and you had Vatican II taking place which had just ended after deciding upon a more ecumenical route to travel, than in previous centuries, to their old throne of global power.
As if in preparation of Satan’s master plan, we see earlier in the past century the global emergence of the World Council of Churches, the National Council of Churches, the United Religious Initiative, and a plethora of other one-world religious movements. These were religious versions of the League of Nations, which turned into the United Nations. Also, earlier in the past century, the Catholic Jesuits (the military branch who headed the Inquisition), led by Teilhard de Chardin, were touting around fake bones in favor of evolution, while the Jesuit Lemaitre was carting Einstein around with him to support their “Big Bang Theory”, as the pope was loudly endorsing the theory of evolution. All of these events were unprecedented in history. Pope John Paul II also led religious leaders from Satanic religions and many others in a ‘prayer for peace’ as can be seen in the article at this link and also in the article at this link. Can anyone see the Book of Revelation unfolding in all of these unprecedented events? Have you noticed how few of the charismatic leaders who claim to have a “Word from GOD” are actually Jewish? Why does this matter? Paul the Apostle said that the Jews were the ones to whom GOD entrusted the responsibility of sharing His Word with us as oracles. In fact, every book of the Bible was breathed by GOD, but delivered through a Jewish prophet or apostle.
“What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.” – Romans 3:1-2
The Christian rock movement has pushed the boundaries on doctrine through their lyrics for decades now. In fact, one of the most dangerous elements of the Charismatic movement is their desire to replace GOD’s Word with their own word which they disguise as “new revelation”, and one of the most clever attempts at charismatic additions to Scripture have been the supposed visions of Muslims and the supposed dreams of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri as seen in the article at this link. The Muslim visions were addressed by Pastor Dennis McBride in the articles at this link (Part 1) and this link (Part 2). In addition to these articles, realize also that the Apostle Paul said in I Corinthians 15 that he was the last one to have seen Jesus Christ. This, in fact, was part of Paul’s credentials as an Apostle (apostles were eyewitnesses of the resurrected Christ – see Acts 1 and I Corinthians 9). Was Paul the Apostle wrong and these Muslims having visions right? What about the Rabbi? After all, the Rabbis is Jewish and would fulfill what and the Rabbi’s prophecy would fulfill what the Apostle Paul said about the oracles of GOD being committed to the Jews. However, if one has discernment, they will soon see that everything the Rabbi said was already stated by Scripture. What did Abraham say to the rich man in hell?
“And he [Abraham] said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” – Luke 16:31
In other words, why do we need a rabbi today to say what GOD Himself already said through His prophets and apostles? Furthermore, the article states:
“With one of Israel’s most prominent rabbis indicating the name of the Messiah is Yeshua, it is understandable why his last wish was to wait one year after his death before revealing what he wrote.”
“For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.” – Luke 9:26
Also, the Rabbi is said to have proclaimed:
“As leader, the Messiah will not hold any office, but will be among the people and use the media to communicate.”
When did Jesus use the press to communicate in the Gospels? Or is He saying that Jesus when He returns to fight the Battle of Armageddon is going to do this? Neither of these make any sense to a discerning follower of Christ who knows the Scripture. I can see the False Christ using media to communicate, but not the True Christ. Thus, the charismatic movement can be seen as a way to prepare the world for the global False Messiah that is to come. The Rabbi said:
“[H]e will actively confirm his position as Messiah without knowing himself that he is the Messiah.”
How is this possible? Did Jesus truly not know that He was the Messiah while on earth?
“When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.” – Luke 7:20-22
Also, the Rabbi said:
“[T]he Messiah would appear to Israel after Ariel Sharon’s death …”
Has anyone seen the Messiah? Sharon died earlier this year.
If the Romans are really out to regain their power once again through Counter-Reformation Jesuits, charismatic movements, the music of enchanters used in Christ’s name, the Manhattan Declaration movement, and popular radio and television pastors who appear Biblical at first, but in recent day are moving people toward baptismal salvation, “many ways to heaven” theology (promoted by Rick Warren and Billy Graham) and other false doctrines, then it makes sense that they will need to empower a False Christ through visions and dreams that are extra-Biblical, since the ways of the False Christ will not be supported by the Scripture. The Jesuits, who are the chief executors of their global religion and the Counter-Reformation, are seen involved in almost every one of these movements. The Charismatic movement offers the ability to Rome to rewrite the sure doctrines of Scripture to create a more inclusive, false church and it also unites Protestants and Catholics into one body of false brethren through its visions, dreams, music, and emotional theology. Do not be deluded.
The Charismatic movement includes sects that claim that if you are saved then you will speak in tongues or have dreams and visions.
Just as the repeated regeneration crowd, who require you practice certain works after salvation to remain “saved”, these Charismatic sects also seek to add a dream, vision, or a gift such as tongues to simple repentant faith as a test of salvation. While saving faith does result in fruit meet for repentance, those who require works or tongues or visions or dreams in addition to faith are preaching a legalistic gospel.
Furthermore, those with legitimate visions and dreams even in the Biblical era did not glory in them as seen in II Corinthians 12 in which Paul preferred to glory in his suffering than in his revelations. Also, Paul made it abundantly clear that Scripture is divinely inspired and above any other revelations, and that the Bible contains everything we need for salvation, sanctification, and life. Therefore, what’s the point of sharing personal dreams and revelations, if they are personal and not Divine Revelation for the Body of Christ, unless it is to glory in one’s self as Paul implies in II Corinthians 12? Instead, we should realize that GOD has given us all that we need in His Holy Word and live humbly glorying in our suffering and infirmities. Have you suffered for Jesus Christ lately? That should be our bragging rights. To claim one’s dreams or revelations are not personal but Divine Revelation leads to an unending “blank check” for heretics as already described previously.
The Bible warns against such adding to Scripture and detracting from Scripture. The phrase “once-for-all” in Jude 1:3 literally in the Greek means “one time” and “once for all”. In other words, a finalized “once-for-all-time” delivery of GOD’s revelation to man. It is the same Greek word denoting “finality” that is used by the writer of Hebrews (ch. 9) when speaking of how Jesus died “once for all” time and when stating that man is appointed only “once” to die.and after this the judgment.
“Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.” – Jude 1:3
UPDATE as of 3/31/2014: My article above, which was written over a year ago, is already being proven accurate and my historical research and analysis has been dead-on the “bull’s eye”. That former Jesuit priest who spoke out and exposed the connections between the Catholics and Charismatics has also been vindicated, and what did Jack Chick say in his 1983 Smokescreens publication about many of the Charismatic televangelist leaders and Rome? Take a look at the events that just took place this past month as seen at this link and this link and this link. Already we are seeing the connections between the Vatican and her Charismatics beginning to show in this unprecedented historical unity of the two movements, and why not when the Charismatics are simply touting Catholic doctrine and paving the way for the Vatican’s strategic ecumenical direction toward “peace” and “unity” ever since Vatican II. The false “grace”, “peace”, and “unity” of the modern age is frightening, and it’s to be found in even the most strict fundamentalist camps. How many Jesuit infiltrators exist and in how many movements and denominations? We may find out very soon. When Rome takes power, it seems that blood begins to flow. So what will happen once everyone decides to unite under Rome and they win enough power to be the majority? But still don’t expect to see or hear this even from your fundamentalist hierarchy, … the infiltrators haven’t all taken their masks off yet. I believe the strong delusion is beginning, but just beginning. I believe that true believers may even be surprised when the masks really start coming off. Imagine a one world government and religion that resembles Charismatic-Catholic beliefs led by a Roman leader who is possessed by Satan. The Christians in America are almost already there, including those who call themselves Protestant and even some of those who call themselves fundamentalist. Amazed? Don’t be. Read the article at this link about John Piper and the article at this link about many other men who are beginning to embrace Roman doctrine. It’s going to get even worse soon, I believe, and to many it may even look like “revival” is taking place, but it will be a Satanic “revival” that ushers in his one world religion and government.
